Wednesday, March 26, 2014:

The Senate will convene at 10:00am. Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business until 11:00am, with Senators permitted to speak for up to 10 minutes each, with Republicans controlling the first half, and the Majority controlling the final half. At 11:00am, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session, and proceed to vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the following nominations:

 Cal. #581, Christopher Reid Cooper, to be U.S. District Judge for the District of Columbia

Cal. #582, M. Douglas Harpool, to be U.S. District Judge for the Western District of Missouri

Cal. #583, Gerald Austin McHugh, Jr., to be U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania

Cal. #584, Edward G. Smith, to be U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania

 If cloture is invoked on any of these nominations, at 2:30pm, all post-cloture time will be expired, and the Senate will proceed to vote on confirmation of the above listed nominations in the order upon which cloture was invoked. Following action on the above listed nominations, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on confirmation of Cal. #694, Joseph W. Westphal to be U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Please note, there will be two minutes of debate prior to each vote, and all votes after the first in each sequence will be 10 minutes in duration.
